First time I've had to come back and rewrite a review ever. The Dispatchers at Forward Air need to all be fired! I was basically forced to leave the company because there wasn't any freight for my truck. In two weeks I received $5.42 as an otr owner. Communication via phone, qual comm never worked! If by chance I did get a load it wasn't consistent loads. I had one great week and after that it was over. They are all over Freight Waves and they have lost over 82% of their business. Failing companies shouldn't try to buy other failing companies. Especially when you can't even successfully dispatch the thousands of trucks you have on the road. Plus they got the nerve to want dedicated trucks when they can't even get you loads. All the bad reviews you've read are true!!!! Do yourself a favor and find another company. Not for Owners and from what I've seen they only have a few dedicated routes left. Even those loads get cancelled some days. Get out now or see this company drag you down!!!!

Well let's see if I can explain everything in this review. First off every thing the recruiter said is a lie only to get you into orientation, once your here the hotel they set you up in is trash, then it all just goes down hill from there. You do more sitting waiting on loads rather then driving, unless you just never want to be home and will run where ever they send you. There communication really suck, sent multiple freeform messages via qual comm and get zero response, I've called the same person 5 times, left messages only to get no return call. Since I got here I've tried to contact my recruiter and left messages but no call back. They don't care about your family or your home time. I have 2 kids and a wife at home. I finished orientation on Wednesday and asked to be routed back home as I've been gone a whole week already plus it is mothers day, not only was I not routed there i was told they don't have any frieght and as well when I told them where my home terminal was i was also told "well we don't really have any frieght come in or out of there". The left hand has no idea of what the right hand is doing. Also they don't tell you all your runs are overnight until after your here. I was also told this load here ob 5-11-18 " Columbus OH to Detroit Mi then empty move back to Columbus OH then Columbus OH to Atlanta Ga tomorrow night (5-12-18) only to be told that the Columbus to Atlanta never leaves out till Sunday (5-13-18) so in terms I was lied to and wasting/not making money cuz I'm throwing away a whole day revenue having to sit here until Sunday night. I do not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I don't believe they have enough frieght to accommodate the trucks they are signing on. The parking lot stays full of Bob tails telling me there is no frieght here yet they continue to lie and tell you everything you want to here. I will be leaving thus place asap. Here's some pics of all the bobtail in front of me, not including all the Bob tails behind me. Sitting Bob tails means no frieght.

stay away from this company More than 12 hours to load a trailer!!! Places like these should have a robot loading the trailers and a machine for working paper at the exit like Niagara!! That way I wouldn't have to see the stupid faces of the women in the office!! and see lazy people hanging around in the warehouse doing nothing!!!

I'm a team driver for expediter. Only been here for 5 weeks. Was told we'd get 5500 to 6000 miles a week. Definitely not true. This place has a huge communication problem. Constantly calling dispatch and they say will call you in a bit. They never call you back ever. Waiting at terminals for days Waiting on loads. Keep calling dispatch back and they keep saying will call you in a bit. Never call you back. It's pretty ridiculous how they lie and avoid getting back with driver's. We called twice today and wanted to talk to a supervisor and was told he'd give us a call back. Guess what. No call back. This review isn't to bash the company . Hopefully someone that has some authority in the company sees it and is actually concerned about the situation will hopefully fix the communication problem here. Let them sit and wait not getting paid. See how long it takes them to fix the problem. I bet quickly. I expect the same treatment as anyone else.

Went to do pickup and was met by the rudest and most disrespectful “tower clerk” KEN HINES. He had an attitude immediately and was very uncooperative, he stated that my pickup number was for another company and to have my company contact their dispatch. I let him know I had a trailer and that I noticed all the other drivers were “bobtail/power only” he still let me wait for a couple of hours until he decided to let dispatch know that it was a preloaded trailer and to cancel the load, THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY INTENTIONAL ON HIS PART and he should be FIRED!!! You should always be courteous and professional especially to drivers who literally keep this country moving!!!! I WOULD NEVER WORK FOR AN ESTABLISHMENT SUCH AS THIS ONE!!! EVER!!!!
